For your safety and to maintain the focus of our work together, we kindly ask that sessions not be held while driving or running errands.

You’re welcome to call in from your car if it offers privacy, but we cannot conduct a session while you’re on the road.

We offer confidential, online therapy sessions from the comfort of your own couch!

Teletherapy is available for patients residing in New Jersey or New York in accordance with the standards set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the state licensing boards.

We use a platform called SimplePractice, which includes a video-call application, that's designed specifically for therapy practices. It's fully encrypted and HIPAA-compliant to keep your privacy preserved and your sessions confidential.

How to prepare for
your online therapy session

Step 1: Check your connection.

A strong internet connection is the most important factor in having a clear and uninterrupted online therapy session.

Step 2: Choose a private location where you will not be overheard or interrupted.

Step 3: Use a microphone headset or bluetooth earbuds to improve sound quality and reduce background noise.

Step 4: Position your camera at eye-level and ensure your face is fully visible on screen.
